About StrapVault

StrapVault exists for one reason. There is a flood of gear out there, and most best-of lists are just affiliate links stapled to spec sheets. We do the opposite. We research the gear, weigh the trade-offs, and tell you what is actually worth your money.

How we make money

We are reader-funded. When you buy through our links, we may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. We never accept payment for a ranking, and brands cannot buy their way onto a list. That independence is the whole point.

How we test

Every pick is scored on fit, build quality, daily usability, and value. We recheck prices and availability monthly so our roundups stay current.

Who writes StrapVault

James Alderton, Watch Collector and Strap Enthusiast. James has been collecting watches and rotating straps for over a decade, from vintage Seikos to modern dress pieces. He writes StrapVault's reviews with a focus on materials, hardware quality, and the honest difference between a good strap and a great one.

A note on independence

StrapVault is an independent review site and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any watch brand, strap manufacturer, or accessory maker. Brand and product names including Rolex, Omega, Seiko, Apple, Barton, BluShark, ZULUDIVER, Wolf, Bergeon, Nomad, and others are used solely to describe product compatibility and review context (nominative fair use). StrapVault earns commissions from affiliate links at no additional cost to readers.
